Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Install Kit for 2016 GMC Sierra 2500

Hi, I have purchased a custom rail mounting kit RP50064-58 Still in its original box opened only to get the documentation out for a vehicle that I no longer have and which has now been replaced with a 2016 Sierra 2500HD Diesel Denali. Will this kit still work with this new truck? Thanks

The # RP56004-58 Reese Fifth Wheel Install Kit would fit a GMC Sierra 2500 up to and including the 2010 model year, so it won't fit your new truck. For your 2016 model, you'd need part # RP50066-58. There were some changes in the truck frames after the 2010 model year that would prevent the # RP56004-58 from being used.
