Recommended 2-Speed Hand Winch For Trailer With Alumaweld Super Vee Boat
Question:
I need to replace the winch on my boat trailer. Boat is 18.5 feet Alumaweld Super Vee inboard 175 I believe it weighs about 1500 wet Looking for a 2 speed winch. Appreciate your advice!

For a winch that is to be used on a boat trailer I recommend a winch that uses either a poly rope or a strap so you don't need to worry about corrosion.
The two-speed winch I recommend is the Fulton, part # F142425. This winch has a 3,200-lb capacity and comes with a 20-foot heavy duty strap included.
