Will 4- and 7-Way Trailer Connector HM40975 Fit the Hole in the Bumper of a 2016 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
This looks like it will fit the cutout in the 2016 Tacoma bumper. I noticed that it is listed as compatible for the 2016 Tundra. Can you confirm that it is also compatible for the 2016 Tacoma?

If you were to use just the connector part and not the bracket part of 4- and 7-Way connector # HM40975 then it will fit in the hole left by the factory connector, if present. But your 2016 Toyota Tacoma would have to have the wiring that plugs into the back of this connector for it to be functional.
Otherwise the only way to add a 7-Way right now is to first install a 4-Way, # 119178KIT, and then use hardwire kit # ETBC7 to hardwire in the 7-Way. I have linked some videos that will help should you need to do a hardwire installation.
