I checked the owner's manual for your 2007 Lincoln Mark LT and you can flat tow it but the front (on 4x4s) and rear drive shafts must be disconnected. And of course they recommend a Ford/Lincoln dealership disconnect and reconnect the drive shafts for you.
If this will work for you then there are several parts you will need to flat tow the truck: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lights, and supplemental braking.
For base plates you can use # 495-1A. They will fit 4x4 models with rounded fog lights and 2 wheel drive models with rectangle fog lights.
For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Falcon 2 # RM-520 if the truck weighs up to but no more than 6,000 pounds. If the truck weighs more than 6K but less than 10K I recommend the Blackhawk 2 # RM-422. I have linked video reviews of both tow bars for you.
For safety cables for either of the above tow bars I recommend # RM-653 because the coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.
For lighting I recommend 4-diode kit # RM-15267 because after it is installed you will not have to worry about it again. I have linked a video you can use as a guide that shows how diodes are installed.
You may also need a high/low adapter to keep the tow bar level. I have linked a help article showing how to measure and a link to the high/low adapters we carry.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the preferred systems for our installers and what I recommend is the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO proportional system, # SM99251. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
The # RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's turn signal from overriding the signal from the RV if your towed vehicle is wired with a standard 4-diode kit.
Be sure to consult your vehicle owners manual for specific information on flat towing the vehicle. I have also included some helpful links to our series of help articles on flat towing for you.
