Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Kuat Transfer 2 on 2015 Nissan Rouge

On a 2015 Nissan Rouge SV, which hitch works best with the Kuat Transfer 2 bike rack. The Curt or Draw-Tite? Im concerned the pin hole may be too far back on the Draw Tite.

Either of the 2 trailer hitches that you referenced, the Curt # C13204 and the Draw-Tite # 75902, will work to carry the Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR while it is folded down. The 2 inch receiver on these hitches will fit well with the Kuat Transfer.

However, neither of the trailer hitches will allow you to fold the bike rack up when not in use.

When we installed the Curt # C13204 on a 2015 Nissan Rogue, we found the center of hitch pin hole to bumper clearance to be 5 inches. When we installed the Draw-Tite # 75902, we found this same clearance to be 5-1/2 inches.

Since the Transfer 2 measures 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin to the closest point of the carrier when folded, neither hitch will allow you to fold the carrier up without contacting your vehicle.

Between these 2 trailer hitches, I recommend the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13204 since it will require the least distance to clear your Rouge's bumper. I have attached an installation video and the installation instructions for this hitch for you.
