I think the best and easiest to install hitch would be part # 13296 from Curt. It has a 600 pound tongue weight and 6,000 pound gross towing weight capacity.
The wiring kit for the Aspen is part # 118390. It will plug in between your vehicle wiring and the tail lights to grab all the right signals. You will neeed to run a single power wire up to the battery on the Aspen to provide an isolated power source. This allows more lights to be used on the trailer as well as preventing damage to vehicle lights or wiring in case something shorts on the trailer.
For standard height rental trailers, ball mount # BM20 that you were looking at will fit the bill. If you will be towing something specific like your boat or camper, I would suggest taking some measurements of the trailer height and hitch height once you have it installed.
