7k Rated Leaf Spring and Hanger Kit Recommendation for Tandem Axle Gooseneck Trailer

Question:

I am reworking a 16foot goose neck trailer that currently has three mobile home axles on it. I will be upgrading the trailer with tandem 7000lb brake axles, shown here: Tires used will be LT 265/75/r16 E rated truck tires just like on my pick up on the following rims. AM20761B How do I decide which suspension/shackle kit should be utilized?

What you are looking for will be dependent on the leaf springs you end up going with. For 7k rated leaf springs the # e64SR would work well for your trailer.

Then for a tandem axle hanger kit you would want the part # APT5.

I attached a picture that shows the dimensions where the hangers should be installed with the # e64SR.
