Expert Reply:
On your 2008 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson the port to plug in a brake controller is located up under the dash to the right of the steering column. It is a gray connector. I have linked a video that will help. The video is on a 2005 F-150 but the location is the same as your 2008.
For a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable. And to plug the controller directly into the truck I recommend harness # 3035-P.
