The only way to know the function of a wire is to test it. I recommend using a circuit tester, # PTW2993, to test those wires. Someone will need to sit in the cab of your 2004 Silverado 2500 and activate the lights, turn signals, brakes, and other functions while you test to determine the functions.
The issue is that there is no standard for wire color and function in the automotive industry, so testing is the only way to be certain.
