The Curt Spyder gooseneck hitch that fits in 5th wheel rails # 16085 is just a different design than the plates such as # 16055. The Spyder cannot be mounted with an offset (with the ball closer to the tailgate) but since you have a long bed truck you would not need the offset for turning clearance.

The Curt Gooseneck plate, # 16055, has the ball welded closer to one end than the other so it can be mounted with an offset.

Both types of hitches have places to attach safety cables. However in some states the safety cable loops cannot be part of the hitch itself. In those cases I recommend using separate safety chains loops, # RP50223, that also attach to the 5th wheel rails.

The only other difference is that the Curt Spyder mounts on the center sets of slots in the 5th wheel rails (spaced 20-1/2 inches apart on center) whereas the Curt plate fits in the inner slots spaced 10 inches apart on center.

I recommend going with the Curt plate # 16055 because it is more versatile and costs less than the Spyder. I have linked video reviews of both of these products for you.
