Curt Trailer Hitch Fit for 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

Hi! On Curts website, if I search for a 2016 Outback, the part Im supposed to buy is 13206. You have videos of a 13390 being installed and perfectly fit on a 2015 outback which Im pretty sure is the same as 2016. Which one should I get to have a perfect fit? Thanks!

For your 2016 Subaru Outback the Curt hitch that is confirmed to fit is the Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13206. This hitch is confirmed to fit the Subaru Outback from 2014-2016. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on a 2014 Outback for you.

The other Curt hitch you referenced # 13390, is designed to fit the 2010-2013 Outback and the 2015-2016 Subaru Legacy.

The # C13206 requires a stabilization strap, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers.
