Availability of Removable Handheld Remote Control for Superwinch LT2000

Question:

Is there a way to wire in the removable 12foot control instead of the control that comes with it? I want the longer cable and ability to remove the cord when not in use.

I spoke with my contact at Superwinch to see if there is an option for you to wire in a removable remote on your Superwinch LT2000 Electric Utility Winch # 1120210. My contact confirmed that you can use the solenoid, socket, and handheld remote designed for the Terra Series winches to provide a removable remote for your LT2000.

If you are looking for a winch and would like one with a removable remote, the Superwinch LT3000ATV Winch # SW1130220 is a great standard duty winch that comes with both the handlebar winch remote and handheld winch remote.
