Recommendation for Lights When Using a Tow Dolly
Question:
I have a 2008 PT Cruiser automatic/front wheel drive that I will be towing behind my RV on a tow dolly with a surge system. The tow dolly will plug in with an adapter to my RV system. Do I need to have the car set up with brake/turn signals working. I would think so, and do you have a wiring kit that I can install?

Expert Reply:
Typically, the tow dolly will have a set of lights on the fenders so you will not need to wire up your vehicle for this in addition to that.
If your dolly system does not already have lights we offer magnetic towing lights # TL21RK or you could wire up the car with # RM-152 and run an extension like # BX88206.
