Install Harness Recommendation for a Brake Controller in a 2008 Nissan Titan
Question:
So I just bought a tekonsha prodigy 2, it has 4 wires. My truck adapter only plugs into my truck relay with 7 wires to go to the tekonsha controller. Does anyone have any insight which wires go to what?

To install a Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885 in your 2008 Nissan Titan that has a factory 7-way will only require the install harness part # 3050-P.
This adapter plugs into the 6-pin connector on your vehicle's built-in brake control wiring harness. The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
If you were wanting to hardwire the controller to the 6-pin harness you could use the picture I attached as a guide so that you can match the wires of the controller properly to the wires of your truck.
