Trailer Lights Not Working with Tow Ready Wiring Harness # 118265 On 2015 Honda Pilot
Question:
Dear sir or madam: I installed Tow Readys product #118265 on our 2015 Honda Pilot a few months ago, but the trailer lights never worked. Ive now gotten around to double checking everything and all of the connections, fuses etc. are fine. When checked with my voltage meter, Im only getting about .7 volts out of each circuit. Im thinking Im not getting enough power to light the trailer lights? Can you tell me if this is a problem with a relay or the module? Thanks

Trailer wiring harness # 118265 is a fit for all styles of the 2015 Honda Pilot so we just have to figure out what exactly has taken place to render the harness inoperable.
You will need to make sure all of the included fuses and relays are installed and that none are blown. This includes the in-line fuses that are part of the harness. If this is a brand new wiring harness on a brand new vehicle then a blown fuse or relay is likely the problem. Consult the vehicle owners manual for all fuses and relays that could be related to tow package wiring and check that they are present and not blown.
