Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2007 Mercury Mariner
Question:
I was thinking about buying and installing a trailer hitch on my 2007 mercury Mariner premier suv 4x4. I want the Hidden Hitch class 3 receiver and was wondering if you could tell me the part number I would need and also tell me what wiring harness I would need for a 4 way flat hookup. Oh, My mariner is a 2007 with the back up sensors. Thanks so much.

The Hidden Hitch Class III Round Tube Receiver hitch offered for your 2007 Mariner is part 87626. The T-1 wiring harness would be part # C59236. This wiring harness would plug inline with the factory connectors behind the tail light assemblies. One wire would then be run to the positive battery terminal.
Both the hitch and the wiring harness include all necessary installation hardware.
I will provide links to the hitch and the wiring harness, as well as the installation instructions for the wiring harness and an installation video for the hitch. The install video shows the installation on a 2008 model, but the procedure would be similar.
