5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2002 Ford F-250 with Air Bag helper Springs
Question:
Hi I have a 2002 f250 and I want to install a reese pro series fifth wheel hitch but my air bag brackets are in the way of the factory reese hitch brackets and also in the way of the quick install no drill brackets. Any ideas? Im stuck

In many cases, the Reese universal 5th wheel hitch installation kit # RP30035 will fit around air bag brackets on trucks. The 4 L-brackets take up much less space and are generally positioned forward and rearward of air bag brackets so there wouldn't be any interference. I have included a picture showing the placement of the brackets on a 2002 Ford F-250 for you to compare to your air bag brackets.
