Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller Installed in 2012 Nissan Armada Not Getting Power
Question:
I have the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller used previously on my wifes Pathfinder with the Nissan wiring harness. Now want to use product on 2012 Nissan Armada, have used same harness and plugged in to brake controller plug, but nothing lights up on controller. Trailer lights all work and 7-pin connector is clean, but appears no power to controller and no braking on trailer. I assume harness is good since it was a direct fit and easy to plug in... Any suggestions?

Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the black wire exiting the rear of the controller. If there's no power reaching it, you're probably missing a fuse that powers up the controller.
Take a look in the main fuse box that's usually located in the engine compartment. The lid of the box should have a legend showing which fuse protects which circuit. Look for one labeled Trailer Brakes or Trailer Tow.
I'd also ensure that you're using the correct brake control wiring adapter, part # 3050-P. Compare the wiring adapter you're using to the photo I've provided to be sure the one you're using is pinned out correctly.
