Adding a Supplemental Transmission Cooler or Bypassing the Factory Transmission Cooler
Question:
The expert gave two diagram which I dont understand that the first drawing the,radiator bypass partially,pls u want to avoid the coolant in getting in to the transmission oil in case radiator failed.he have to explain better

The diagrams you mentioned which I have included here as well are basically showing you the path the transmission fluid will take. In the diagram on the left it showing the hot fluid line going to the radiator. On many vehicles the factory transmission cooler is inside the radiator in a separate chamber so the coolant and transmission fluid will not mix. The return line then goes from the outlet on the radiator to the supplemental cooler and then back to the transmission.
In the diagram on the right the cooler is bypassing the factory cooler by going from the transmission to the new cooler and from there back to the transmission. Notice that the inlet and outlet ports for the factory cooler have been plugged up.
