Wiring Instructions Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2010 Chrysler Town and Country w/ 7-Way
Question:
I have a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. Last year I put a towing package on, and added the factory 7 pin wire harness. I have an extra blue wire under the hood rolled up for the brake controller. What do I need to hook the brake controller up with my existing setup? Also, do you have any videos of how to do this with this particular brake controller? Or is there one similar enough that I could follow that video instead? Thanks!

I have attached a snapshot from one of our help articles which will explain/illustrate the connections needed to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195, in your 2010 Chrysler Town and Country.
In addition to the controller you will also need a 20-Amp In-Line Circuit Breaker, # 9506P, Butt Connectors, # DW05745-5, Quick Splice Wire Connector, # SWC501915-1, and enough wire, # 10-2-1, to reach from the brake controller, through the firewall, and to the vehicle battery. This wire is sold by the foot so you can just order as much as you need.
The attached video shows the P2 being installed on a 2014 Grand Caravan but this will give you a good idea as to the installation process. Since you already have the 7-way installed on your Town and Country, you can fast forward through about the first half of the video.
