According to my buddy at Tekonsha, all models of the 2010 Flex are equipped with the brake controller connector. It's located right behind the front edge of the dash, directly below the steering column. You'll need the # 3035-P Brake Controller Wiring Adapter.

If your Flex has the factory installed 7-way trailer connector at the rear, you'll have a plug and play installation. The procedure will be different if you have the 4-pole or if you have no trailer connector.

If you have the 4-pole, you'll need the # 37185 adapter that will plug into the 4 pole and convert it to a 7-way. Trace the 4 pole to where it plugs into a connector on the driver's side frame rail. The wiring harness the 4-pole plugs into should have a blue and a red or orange wire. The black wire from the adapter would tap into the red or orange wire and the blue wire from the adapter would tie into the blue wire in the harness. If there isn't a blue and an orange or red wire in the harness, you'll need to run your own brake controller and 12-volt trailer feed circuit under the vehicle and up to the engine compartment. You can use a length of jacketed cable, part # 10-2-1 which is sold by the foot. You'll need a length long enough to reach the front of the vehicle. The 12-volt circuit can run under the vehicle to the battery via a 40 amp circuit breaker, part # 9510. It would attach to the black adapter wire. The other wire would attach to the blue adapter wire and would run under the vehicle to the engine compartment and through the firewall where it would connect to the blue wire exiting the rear of the brake controller.

If your Flex has no trailer connector, you'd first install a 4-pole, part # 118472. The install would proceed as mentioned above.
