5th Wheel Trailer hitch Install Kit for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed and Reese Hitch
Question:
reese quick slide 16k Going to purchase 2011 silverado 2500 . Would like to know if my existing hitch works and what new rails I would need. Thanks

Yes, you can use your Reese slider 5th wheel trailer hitch in your 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500. The slider base fits industry standard above the bed rails. For an installation kit I recommend a custom install kit over a universal one because there is less drilling needed and it takes less time to install a custom kit.
For a Reese custom kit you can use # RP50066-58. I have included a link to a video showing how this kit installs.
If you wanted to go with a universal kit you can use # RP30035 but you will have to drill into the truck frame for installation.
