Trailer Hitch for a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible
Question:
I just got the Curt 11260 from you, and discovered that the VW Beetle convertible has a different frame piece that uses the hole the Curt was supposed to use. after looking at your site some more, it appears the c11354 hitch might work - but it specifically says for the 2014. Will it work on a 2013? Ill have to return the 11260. Sorry about that. Thanks.

We do have 1 trailer hitch listed as a fit for your 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, the Curt hitch # C11354. This is the only hitch listed for a convertible 2013 Beetle.
If you plan on using the hitch for an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier make sure the accessory is rated for use in a Class I trailer hitch. And for bike racks you are limited to 2 bikes on a Class I hitch. Curt also says that you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using their hitch with non-trailer loads such as bike racks or cargo carriers.
If you plan on towing then the correct ball mount to use is # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # C56380.
