The size of the hitch opening on your 2007 Honda CRV will determine the options available for a cargo carrier on your vehicle.
If you have a 2 inch hitch I would recommend the 24x60 Railed Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # 63153, or the 24x60 Railed Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # e98874, which are two of our best selling cargo carriers and are very sturdy.
If you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch on your CRV then I would recommend the 20x48 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110, which is our best selling carrier for 1-1/4 inch Class I and Class II hitches.
You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your vehicle to the farthest out part of your spare tire to be sure the cargo carrier you select will work on your vehicle. The measurements for the above mentioned carriers are listed below. If your measurement is less than the listed measurement then the carrier will work on your vehicle.
# 63153, Measures 12-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the carrier platform.
# e98874, Measures 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the carrier platform when in use and 9-1/2" when not be used and folded.
# C18110, Measures 6-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the carrier platform.
If you decide to purchase a cargo carrier and the cargo you carry will block the vehicle tail lights you will need a light kit. The Light Kit for Draw-Tite, Tow Ready for the # 63153 item # 20174. The light kit for the # e98874 is the # e98943-44LED.
