Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Ford Escape for Cargo Carrier
Question:
I have a Haul Master 500 lb capacity deluxe Steele Cargo Carrier which I would like to use with my 2013 Ford Escape. Would the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch be suitable for use with this carrier? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite part # 75758 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your 2013 Ford Escape and has a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs. This should be more than enough capacity for your cargo carrier, but you should consider the weight of the cargo carrier plus the weight of your cargo and be sure that these two together do not exceed the capacity of this hitch, or the tongue weight of your vehicle that is listed in the owners manual.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
