When it comes to tire chains for your 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4 x 4, more is better. By placing chains on all four tires instead of just the driving wheels, you gain extra stability and added steering/braking ability.
According to the owner's manual for your F-250, Ford states to only use SAE Class S tire chains. For this I recommend going with the Thule Self-Tensioning Diamond Pattern Snow Tire Chains, # TH01594267, for your 265/70/17 tires. These chains are made of sturdy steel alloy that resists corrosion and the D-shaped links provide excellent traction. Another added benefit is these chains automatically tighten and align as you drive making installation a breeze.
