The Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120, that you reference, is not a confirmed fit for your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 short bed. For a16K Curt 5th wheel hitches with double jaw and base rail kits that are a confirmed fit for your vehicle you will want # C16521 and custom bracket kit # C16418-204. This 5th wheel is a slider which you will need with your short bed truck. I have included a video review of this 5th wheel hitch for you to check out.
