Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 Short Bed
Question:
I am purchasing a 2015 keystone raptor 332ts which weighs about 16000 loaded. I have a 2015 gmc 3500 Denali single wheel 6.6 bed. Is my truck ok to pull this?

Your GMC Sierra 3500 should have more than enough towing capacity to tow a 16,000 lb trailer. You can confirm this by checking the owners manual of your truck, but you should find that you have more than enough capacity.
For a fifth wheel rail kit to install in the bed of your truck so that you can install a fifth wheel hitch you would want a custom install kit like part # RP50066-58. Custom install kits will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling. Check out the install video I attached.
Since you have a short bed truck you will also need to get a slider hitch so that you can make sharp turns without cab interference. For that I would recommend the Reese Select Hitch with Slider part # RP30083. This hitch has a premium single hook jaw for excellent king pin contact and a round tube slider for smooth operation. Check out the review video I attached.
