Troubleshooting Titan Tire Chains That Seem to be Too Small
Question:
Truck F150 Tire Size is P265/70 R17 There is no way I can get the tensioner to stretch across to the opposite side of the tire. Am I doing something wrong? What are the spare links for? There is no information on how to use them. This doesnt seen difficult. I think these chains may be a bit too short for this tire. Please help.

Thank you for submitting a picture, that makes it much easier to be able to tell exactly what is going on with your chains. At first glance it does look like the part # TC2526 is too small for your tire. It really looks like you need to pull the yellow of the chain closer to the center of your wheel so that the tensioner chain doesn't have to bridge as far of a gap to connect the yellow chain at the bottom of the tire. Try grabbing the chain and positioning it so that the yellow portion of the chain makes a tighter circle on the front of your tire.
I also attached an install video for these chains for you to check out as well. If you fast forward to the 1:40 mark you can see our installer trying to get the tensioner chain as tight as possible around that pivot point.
