Recommended Platform Bike Rack That Secures Bikes By The Wheel

Question:

Should the double track be used with carbon fiber bikes? A few of the lower ratings cited rubbing on the tube that removed the color and could have a long term effect of affecting the integrity of the carbon. Thanks

The function of the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack, part # TH92BJ, requires the arm to hold the bike at the frame.

For a bike rack that has a different attachment method I recommend the Thule T2 2-Bike Rack, part # TH83JV. This holds the bikes in place with arms that secure the wheels and not the bike frame. This is a folding bike rack and has a 60 lbs per bike weight capacity. I have attached a link to a product review video for this rack you can check out.
