Does Installation of Hopkins Backup Sensor part # HM60100VA Require Drilling Into Body of Vehicle
Question:
Please advise me how I would install your HM60100VA unit on my 2014 Mercedes CLA250 rear license plate if I purchased it. I do not want to drill any holes through the body of the car. Can the sound device be placed in the truck and still be heard from the drivers seat? Thank you.

You would not have to drill any holes into the body of your 2014 Mercedes CLA250 to install the Hopkins Backup Sensor System part # HM60100VA. This product simply attaches to your vehicle like your current license plate does using the current holes.
We've had one of these out in our test studio before and the alert is pretty loud. As long as you didn't have the music turned up too loud you should have no problem hearing the alert if it was installed in the trunk.
