Trailer Hitch and Wiring fof a 2015 Subaru WRX
Question:
I am interested in a hitch for a 2015 Subaru WRX. Do you know if Curt or any other manufacturer will offer one?

Expert Reply:
For your 2015 Subaru WRX you can use Curt trailer hitch # C11408. If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount to use is # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # C56259.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
