Having Difficulty Installing Cable Clamping for InvisiBrake System # RM-8700 on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
The installation has gone fine except the brake peddle is a different size larger and shaped differently than what the illustration has. The cable clamping system to activate the brake does not work on 2015 Cherokee. There is a bolt on the top part of the peddle that will work with the clamp but that location does not give sufficient leverage to properly activate the bake. What is the remendy?

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and in order to complete the installation of the InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, # RM-8700, in your 2015 Jeep Cherokee, you will need to make sure that the bracket is as close to the brake pedal as possible and drill a hole through the brake pedal arm.
Please feel free to send me an email if you have any additional questions.
