I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88341 for your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These air springs have an internal jounce bumper to help prevent bouncing which is common on trucks which use other air springs.
The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ allows you to adjust the air pressure in each air spring from your smart phone using the Air Lift app. This means you will not have to run air lines into your cab or have to manually check the air... view full answer...
The B and W Patriot fifth wheel hitch part # BWRVK3200 that you have is designed to fit industry standard rails so what you would need for your 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 is the # BWRVK3270 and you'd be set. view full answer...
I reached out to Hopkins and they mentioned that the 6 LED lights built in to the VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera # HM34FR will provide 50 feet of light at night to illuminate behind your trailer or RV and the 720x480 video resolution will give you a clear picture of what is happening behind you while on the road day or night.
I included a video of the VueSmart # HM34FR for you to take a look at. view full answer...
I definitely understand how the above bed rails can get in the way when your Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 is removed.
There is a way to convert your Hijacker # DM8550034 to underbed rails but you will need to install the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit for Demco Hijacker # DM8551010 and remove your current above bed rail system.
You can then use Replacement Side Plates for Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # DM6004 to allow... view full answer...
We definitely have options to flat tow your 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 and the following will be some recommendations to get you on the road. With that being said, I included some review and install videos of these recommendations for you to check out as well.
First, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1740 is designed to fit your 2021 Silverado 2500 and will bolt directly to the frame. Next, you will need a tow bar that will attach to the # BX1740 .
The Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding... view full answer...
For your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2709. These 7,500 pound springs are confirmed to fit your Silverado 2500 4WD Crew Cab and are compatible with an in-bed fifth-wheel hitch like what you have installed. The air bags will do a great job of keeping your truck level when hooked up to the trailer and they can be adjusted for a smooth ride for when you aren't towing as well.
I have attached an installation video on the 2016 model Silverado... view full answer...
As far as I know that is not something that is normal for an older camper. More than likely the blue wire has taken the place of the yellow wire for some reason since you have no need for a brake controller. The 7-way connection in the bed of your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is designed for 5th wheel/gooseneck towing so that is the reason why it is located there.
In order to connect the 7-way on your vehicle to the camper you need wiring with two trailer end connectors on it like the... view full answer...
The dual exit setup part # MF19027 would be the better option if maximum efficiency is what you are after for your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 6.0 liter gas engine. The # MF19026 is a great option but would be slightly more restricted as it has a single pipe that exits the muffler. view full answer...
If you wanted to make your 12 volt power circuit turn off when the vehicle is turned off you could install the isolation solenoid part # PK5231201 on the circuit. You'd need install the circuit to the outside posts and then for the center pin you'd run a circuit to it that only is active when the vehicle is on and you'd be able to have the circuit killed completely when the vehicle off. view full answer...
I'd recommend a different route for adding suspension enhancement to your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 that has a camper and will be towing. The best suspension enhancement we have for your truck is the RoadActive Suspension system part # RAS3611-HD for if you do not have overload springs or the part # RAS3611-CHD for if you do.
Unlike other kits these give you the support you are wanting this also improves the ride quality and handling which is especially valuable when carrying a camper... view full answer...
Adding Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement to your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 will help to eliminate the porposing or bucking you are experiencing when towing your 5th wheel trailer as they will add more support to the rear suspension of your truck.
Now the difference between the Timbren # TGMRTT35D and # TGMRCK25D is the # TGMRTT35D is has a 8000lb load leveling capacity and the # TGMRCK25D has an 8600lb load leveling capacity. I recommend going with the # TGMRTT35D as it will give... view full answer...
The Edge CTS2 Programmer part # EP85450 is confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 6.0 liter engine. Normally with the addition of just a programmer you'll see 1-2 additional miles per gallon. Now with towing those results are still there but the mileage will never be great since your moving such a large amount of weight.
Another great thing this programmer has is a fuel mileage coach which allows you to see how your driving habits affect your mileage. This can help... view full answer...
What you would need to do is order the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17501 and then swap out the shank with one that is designed for 2-1/2 inch hitches like the # C17131. view full answer...
The Pull Rite hitches unfortunately do not have any height adjustment available and replacement pin boxes for your Leland aren't going to have a significant height difference so your best choice is a new automatic sliding hitch that is height adjustable like the Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 which is an auto slider that can fit your truck with the rail kit adapter # DM6333. view full answer...
Yes, all of your current trailer wiring will work after you install the Hopkins Endurance part # HM54FR on your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500. view full answer...
That would be a great feature to have but there isn't a way to integrate the camera pre-wiring of your Keystone Cougar with the GCH third brake light camera kit for the newer Chevy Silverados. Best option is to use a separate system with the Furrion kit that fits your Keystone part # FOS05TASF which gives you a monitor you'd stick onto your windshield. view full answer...
That is certainly a pretty radical idea using the etrailer.com J-Style Kayak Carrier part # e98878 and attaching them to the vertical uprights but I am afraid I cannot recommend this nor do I see a way to attach to these uprights as it appears they are too wide and the bolts would not align between them. The Malone SUPSwing Fold Away SUP Storage System part # MPG384 I could see being able to be installed on the uprights but I cannot recommend this as that is not what they are designed for. view full answer...
The correct B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is part # BWRVK3775 not part # BWRVK3770 which is for the 2016-2019 models. view full answer...
While we do recommend following the guidelines in your owner's manual, if you're determined to use tire chains for the 275/65R20 tires on your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 then I recommend using the Konig Snow Tire Chains - XD16 Pro - Size 280 # KON64FR as these have a Class S rating and are very easy to install. They also require 16mm of internal clearance so that's something else you can check. I typically recommend installing the chains once you get them just so that you will know exactly... view full answer...
To use a Curt hitch you'll just need to use the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package Item # C88KR to attach it to your new 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500.
The recommended trailer wiring is the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector and Cover Plate - 7' Long Item # C53CR.
For a short beds sliders are definitely helpful because they'll give you extra clearance when making turns. Most sliders will require you to get out of... view full answer...
