I personally like the Yakima roof racks more because they have some adjustability in the legs to get the most custom fit. You are already on the correct track. In order to install a 7-way on your 2011 Toyota Rav4 you have to have a 4-way installed first. Since you already have a 4-way you can use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to adapt your 4-way into a 7-way. You would still want to run the second power wire to the battery. The wire for the 4-way is only 10-amp while the 7-way wire is 40-amp and they are serving different purposes. Both the Curt # C13416 and the etrailer # e23ZR are confirmed fits for all models of the 2020 Toyota RAV4. Both hitches are a concealed design, which means that the crossbar of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper, the only visible portion is the receiver tube and the safety chain hoops.
