I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 on the wires coming in and out of your switch. This will tell you if you have any power going into the switch or coming out of the switch when activated. It is possible you have a bad switch, and this will let us know if we need to trace a wire for a short or not.

I recommend first unmounting the stereo and pulling the fuse located on the back of the stereo to reset it. With this being such a specific issue if resetting the unit doesn't fix it then it will most likely need to be replaced.
If this is the case then I recommend the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM70A to replace your Furrion DV3100 RV Stereo. They both have very similar features such as Bluetooth, USB/AUX Ports, and Wireless Remote but the Jensen option is a bit better built in my experience... view full answer...
