One way to identify the roof material type without removing it from your roof is to go to your vent fan and remove the inside trim cover. Manufacturers will typically pull it down and staple it to the vent opening. If your Dometic controller doesn't have a port for the Advent Air Heat Strip # ACMHD to plug into then the only way to make it work would be to swap out the air distribution box/controller with either the manual control # ACDB or wall control # ACRG15.
