I spoke to my contact at Curt about installing Hitch # 13591 on your 2006 Saturn Vue Redline. She state that if you measure from the bottom of the bumper beam down 2 inches, that is where the top of the receiver tube will be and that should give you some idea of what will need to be trimmed. The hole will also be about 2-1/2 inches wide.

The connection you will need to use is most likely the chassis connection in the case of the brake controller. You will want the connection that is hot at all times ran to the brake controller so that the trailer brakes can be operated at any time whether the ignition is on or not. You should not have to cut anything to install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 75556. The hitch receiver opening will sit just below the rear fascia. The only thing you may want to do is temporarily un-hook the exhaust from the hanger near the rear to make getting the hitch in place and installing the bolts easier.

If you ordered adapter # 3026-P with the brake controller, then this is the correct plug for the 2008 Saturn Outlook. On some vehicles, there is an extra wire for illumination of the brake controller, just in case a particular brake controller requires it. "Install Central Fasteners – Install fasteners in central receiver bracket.
a. With Bumper Weldnuts – (2) M12 bolts and (2) 1/2” conical washers

The black connector on the end of part # HM47815 will work with your Brake Force controller. However, the white connector on the other end is designed to connect to various Toyota trucks and SUVs and will not plug into your Vue which does not have a connector under the dash for connecting a brake controller. I looked up some videos on line for replacing the rear windshield wiper of your Saturn Vue and found that to remove it from the big plastic housing you will basically just want to pull directly away from the housing. In other words you would pull the wiper away from you and towards the front of the vehicle. In the video it the owner had to pull pretty hard but it will come straight out.
