  • Would Replacement Handle for Pop & Lock Tonneau and Truck Cap Power Lock # PAL9585 Have Been Glued
  • The Replacement Handle for Pop & Lock Tonneau and Truck Cap Power Lock # PAL9585 shouldn't have been glued to the glass of the cap. Most likely it just needs to be gently pried off. You might try some spray lubricant like WD40 set over night to see if that will free it up.

  • What is Angle of Camera View for Furrion Vision S Side Marker Camera Kit for RV
  • The angle of the Furrion side marker cameras in the kit part # FCE48TASL isn't adjustable. It's set at an angle that when you have it installed on the front of the trailer you'll see a small portion of the trailer and as wide of an angle to the side as possible to eliminate a blind spot. I attached a picture of what the view looks like you can see a small portion of the trailer still. Being able to see more of the trailer instead would only reduce the amount you could see out to the side.

  • Will Exhaust From 2021 Chevy Traverse Damage Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier
  • According to my research it looks like the receiver on your 2021 Chevy Traverse will sit a little above the exhaust (see attached photo of etrailer # e56YR on 2020 Traverse), and since the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR has a 2" rise, it will be out of harms way with the exhaust. Attached are some videos for you to check out.

  • Hitch Recommendation and Rear Fascia Removal for a 2015 Chevy Traverse
  • I am sure that with enough trimming you could find a way to be able to reinstall the fascia door of your 2015 Chevy Traverse, but Draw Tite recommends it just simply get removed and not reinstalled when installing the # 75528. The Curt hitch # 13424 that is also confirmed as a fit for your vehicle has installation instructions that indicate that the panel could be reinstalled if desired on some models

  • Can A 2022 Chevrolet Traverse Be Flat Towed?
  • Typically it is required to disconnected the negative terminal on your towed vehicle to avoid unauthorized use of your vehicle or unwanted battery consumption when not used for long periods of time. However I did also check the owner's manual for your 2022 Chevrolet Traverse, and they explicitly state that your vehicle should never be towed with four wheels on the ground as it can damage your drivetrain. The manual recommends using a tow dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric...

  • How Does Brake Controller Install in 2014 Chevy Traverse with Factory 7-Way
  • Your 2014 Chevy Traverse that has the factory 7-way does not require accessing the brake controller wiring if your plan was to install the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C74VV that you referenced. Basically you'd plug in the Echo directly into your 7-way and once you've synced it to your smart phone you'd be ready to tow. If you wanted to install a more traditional brake controller like the P3 part # 90195 you'd use the install harness part # 3026-P which plugs into a gray connector...

  • Where Does a Trailer Wiring Harness Ground on a 2012 Chevy Traverse
  • The white ground wire is bundled with the yellow and brown side of trailer wiring harness # 118450 and that is the side that plugs into the left (driver's side) tail lights. The instructions are a little confusing because it doesn't actually say that you ground the white wire on the right. The step for grounding the white wire comes after routing the green wire connectors to the right side though so it makes it seem like the white wire should be on the right side. But the instructions...

  • Is Drilling Required to Install Westin Sure Grip Running Boards on a 2011 Chevy Traverse
  • The Westin Sure Grip running boards, # 27-6620-1835, for the 2011 Chevy Traverse are listed as a no-drill application. The light kit, # 27-6000, could require drilling since there is no specific installation instructions for the wiring part.

  • How Does the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box Secure To Crossbar
  • The only way to use the install hardware for the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018 is with the plate mounting on the inside of the box and the u-bolt going around the crossbar, coming up through the box, and then getting secured with the wing nuts. Since there is a curve in the u-bolt it would put undue stress on the inside of the cargo box if it was mounted upside down and tightened. I attached a review video for this cargo box for you to check out as well.

  • Brake Controller Installation on 2015 Chevy Traverse Using OEM Brake Controller Pigtail
  • The factory brake controller pigtail would indeed plug in to the connector located under the dash, near the emergency brake pedal. I've shown you a photo of where the plug is located. The factory pigtail would wire up to the pigtail included with the brake controller, the pigtail should be labeled to indicate which wire serves which function. The blue brake controller pigtail carries the output voltage from the controller to the trailer brakes. The black wire is the power supply to the...

  • Installing The Universal Installation Kit For Brake Controller # ETBC7 To Brake Switch
  • In your 1994 Chevy Astro, if you look at the brake pedal and follow the bar up, you will find a switch. You can put a circuit tester on either side of the switch and test it. When on the hot side, there will be signal when the pedal is not pressed and the switch is not engaged. When you test the other wire, it should have no power when the pedal isn't engaged but should read hot when the pedal is pressed...this is what we call the cold side of the switch and is what you want to splice...

  • Connecting Electric Trailer Brake Controller to 2020 Chevy Traverse
  • The 2020 Traverse without factory 7-way will require running the # 5506 wiring to connect to your 7-way unless those wires were already run when you added the 7-way. There won't be factory wires run for those functions. Then for your brake controller # TK90160 you will want to connect the blue wire to the brake controller output wire that connects to the 5 o'clock pin on your 7-way. It sounds like you found a 12v power, but you will want to make sure it has the circuit breaker, so I'd...

  • Installing Trailer Wiring Harness # C56181 on 2013 Chevy Traverse
  • I've linked you to install instructions for the wiring harness you mentioned, but I'd recommend using the Tow Ready # 118270 which doesn't require a power wire that's run to the vehicle's battery. The # 118270 includes a wiring harness that plugs into the tow package connector located under the vehicle on the passenger side to the right of the muffler, as well as the fuses and relays necessary to activate the factory trailer wiring tow package. The video I've linked shows the harness being...

  • Connecting a Ball Mount and Brake Controller to a 2016 Chevy Traverse
  • If your ball mount is touching the rear fascia on your 2016 Chevy Traverse due to the hidden look of the receiver, like you get with the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98863, then you should be able to use a ball mount with a longer shank to get the proper clearance. I have attached a link to our selection of ball mounts that you can filter through but if you can let me know what hitch you have installed, the rear clearance needed, and what rise/drop you need (see attached article)...

  • Does Malone Runway HM4 Bike Rack Tilt Down Freely
  • The Malone Runway HM4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # MAL82VR does not have a stopping or lock point; when you pull the spring pin it will in fact tilt down, and the pin will need to be re-inserted at the correct position when tilting it back up. So really the tilting feature would be best suited for two people when using the Malone Runway # MAL82VR. This is a really nice option for a 4-bike rack though, and even comes with locking knobs on the arms to help protect your bikes. The HM4 comes with...

  • Choosing the Correct Shank for the Curt MV Weight Distribution System
  • In order to receive the best performance of your Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17051 I recommend using the Curt Weight Distribution Shank part # 17120. This is going to allow you to lower the trailer hitch ball an additional 2" so it is level with the trailer. If you were to tow the trailer unlevel, the amount of trailer sway you experience would almost certainly be higher than with the trailer level.
