The Bulldog Winch Grille Guard # BDW733738B referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2007.5 Chevy Silverado New Body 2500HD. I spoke with my contact at Bulldog Winch and he verified that no body modifications on the truck are required to install the unit. view full answer...
The male end of the Derale Radiator Adapter part # D13018 that you referenced does thread into the outlet side of the factory cooler in your radiator. The female side of this adapter would thread onto the male side of the coolant line that you removed from the factory cooler.
I realize that's probably hard to visualize so I attached a diagram that shows how both sides of the adapter are used.
I also attached an FAQ article on transmission coolers, plus a video of one being installed.... view full answer...
The camera kit associated with the Edge part # EP39YR is the license plate camera kit part # EP44YR which does not have a left and right adjustment but can adjust up and down. If you needed to adjust camera to left or right you could use washers to push the bracket out on the one side. view full answer...

I called my contact at Superchips and asked what the breakdown for performance is when using the Flashpaq Performance Tuner, part # SU2845. There are 5 settings you can choose from and they are set for the octane level of the fuel you are using. They said for the lowest level of increase using the 87 octane fuel you could expect and increase of about 33 horsepower and 24 torque increase. They said that is dependent on the engine you have in your truck. You can check the VIN and if the letter... view full answer...
Wiring color and corresponding function varies among vehicle manufacturers and most of the time, they do not match up with the color/function on brake controllers like the Tekonsha P3, # 90195. For a 2007 Chevy Silverado, the Red/Black wire will attach to the brake controller black wire. The light blue/white wire will attach to the brake controller red wire. The white wire will attach to the brake controller white wire. The dark blue wire will attach to the brake controller blue wire. The... view full answer...
Always good to hear from someone who was in the business. I will be happy to help you get the measurements for the 5th wheel rails in your truck. For a 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body, short bed, you will actually be measuring from the rear edge of the truck bed (not tailgate). Measure forward from the rear edge of the tailgate 25-1/8 inches. This is where the back edge of the rear rail will be.
Once you have it centered side to side you can use the 5th wheel hitch to locate the front rail.... view full answer...
Yes, the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel, Straight-Through Universal Muffler # MF12771 is a good fit for your 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body with a DuraMax diesel engine. It has the correct 4 inch diameter inlet and outlet and is designed for the hotter exhaust requirements of diesel engines. This is a 20 inch long muffler with a body diameter of 7 inches so it will about the same loudness as what you have now. It won't be like those super loud obnoxious diesel engines you hear. view full answer...
The 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body does not use a harness to plug in a brake controller. That stopped in 2006 and 2007 Classic models. Instead your truck has a tow package wire bundle under the dash, to the left of the steering column, held together with white tape.
You can keep the harness that you have and just cut off the end that would normally plug into the truck. Brake controller white goes to truck white for ground. Controller black goes to truck red for 12 volt power. Controller... view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Curt about installation of gooseneck trailer hitch # C60712 on your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 new body style short bed. The gap that you are seeing is supposed to be there. It is a result of some of the other hardware used toward the rear of the bracket and your installation is correct! view full answer...
The wiring and connector should be behind the bumper so that you can connect part # PK11916. I have added a link to a page on a brake controller installation on a 2008 GMC Sierra with no hitch or 7-Way from the factory. I have also included a link to a video of this same installation. In addition to the 7-Way install, it also covers installing a brake controller. view full answer...
I can help you figure out what your circuit breakers are rated for but unfortunately I don't know what circuit breakers came on your 2018 Venture Sonic 200VML. I can say that we typically recommend using either a 20A or 30A circuit breaker for the 12V power so if your manual says 30A then I would tend to lean that way.
You can be 100% certain by disconnecting all of your wiring and removing those covers on the circuit breakers you should then be able to tell the rating as the circuit breakers... view full answer...
To install the Prodigy P3 brake controller part # 90195 in your 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body requires splicing into the brake controller wiring you have under the dash as there isn't a port under the dash.
I attached an install video and a help article link that details how this is done. view full answer...
It is possible to use both the 7 way and the 4 way plug on the Hopkins Endurance Trailer Connector # HM40920 at the same time. Since both plugs use the same wiring, they will both be active at all times. That being said, using both at the same time could result in over drawing power which could lead to blown fuses, or other problems. We cannot recommend using both plugs at the same time. view full answer...
The 2007 Chevy Silverado should have trailer wiring already installed on it you could tap into but if there is no connector present you would just use # HM40975 and install it like in the video I have linked.
To determine the wire function on existing wiring you would use a circuit tester like # PTW2979. You can then probe each wire while someone runs through the various light functions to determine the wire functions. Testing is a must because manufacturers can use any color wire they want. view full answer...
On a 2007 Chevy Silverado that has the integrated brake controller, in order to get an aftermarket controller to work you will need to disconnect the blue wire that you have connected. Then you will need to attach a length of # 12-1-1 to the brake controller blue wire. Then you need to run it through the firewall, under the truck, to the 7-Way and install it in place of the wire that is already there in the 7:00 position or cut the wire coming out of that location (blue) and attach it to... view full answer...
The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner # SU4845, which is approved in California, can disable the Fuel Management in your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body with a 5.3L engine.
It also features pre-loaded settings including one to increase your towing performance. The Flashpaq F5 boosts your horsepower, torque, and can help out with fuel economy as well if you choose that option.

I believe I have found the articles and video that you were inquiring about for your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body. I have linked them to this answer page for you to check out.
The bundle of 5 wires (which I believe you are referring to the 5 wires up under the driver side dash) should have a label of some kind attached to them to let you know which wire is for which function. If there is no label then you will want to use a circuit tester, like part # PTW2992, so that you can find... view full answer...
I contacted our representative at Firestone and he informed me that you should be able to un-bolt the bump stops. You should be able to access the bolts through the opening at the rear of the frame. The instructions for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2430 also state that you should un-bolt the bump stops.
In addition to part # F2430, I would also recommend Firestone Level Command II - Single-Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function, part # F2158, to control... view full answer...
The Tekonsha P3 brake controller you'd looked at, part # 90195 actually includes 2 different mounting brackets, as shown in the provided photo. The 2007 Silverado New Body actually doesn't need a brake controller wiring harness, the tow package wiring bundle is located under the dash above where the drivers left knee would be, between the emergency brake pedal and the steering column. Look for a bundle of wires with a white tag on them. The bundle will contain 4 or 5 blunt-cut wires that... view full answer...
