You might check with your Chevy dealer to see if a Class S tire chain or cable would be permissible. A Class S chain will extend no more than 15 mm (some would extend less) to the inside of the tire and would provide maximum clearance. To convert your van's 4-pole flat trailer connector to a 7-way format to match your trailer you can use adapter # 37185 from Hopkins. This simply plugs in to the 4-pole on the van and provides BOTH a 4-pole output and a 7-way output socket in one housing. For a 2-1/2-inch receiver tube we offer several lengths of hitch extender/reducer that are shown on the linked page.
