What you are experiencing is pretty common as the weld nuts on vehicles where hitches install get dirty easily which prevents the hitch hardware from threading in properly. I have included a few links on hitch installation tips, cleaning weld nuts, and a video on cleaning weld nuts for you but basically you need to clean the weld nuts and the correct hardware that you have will thread right in. In most cases going with an M12 X 1.25 thread tap is the easiest and most efficient solution. view full answer...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13078 is indeed a correct fit for your 2016 Nissan Quest. I have taken a look at the photo you attached and it looks like you are using the wrong set of holes. The trailer hitch will need to move back one set of holes which you can see in the attached photo. For reference, the two holes on the bracket are spaced 3.027" apart on center.
Please let me know if you still run into issues using the other set of bolt holes. I have attached an install video... view full answer...
We have a cargo box with this kit on display in our showroom so I measured the U-bolts. The inside width of the U-Bolt in the kit is 3-1/4 inches. As long as the cross bars are no wider than 3-1/4 inches and no thicker than 2 inches, the mounting kit should fit fine.
Your box should have a metal strip in the bottom for this kit to mount properly. If not you will need the QM3 Quick On-Off Mounting Hardware Kit, TH04997, which has plates to support the bottom of the box. view full answer...
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # e98KR has the heaviest rating of the hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2016 Nissan Quest.
The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a matte black powder coat finish which is over a protective base coat that offers a superior rust resistance.

Suspension enhancement kits like the Air Lift part # AL60806 weren't designed to fix sagging worn out suspension. This kit can remove the sag like you mentioned but with the amount of air pressure required to do this you'd have a pretty rough ride quality. Best option would be to fix the vehicle's suspension and then go with the Air Lift kit if you need additional support. view full answer...
I checked with Thule and for your 2009 Nissan Quest that has rails that run front to back the older 400XT feet would not be a fit since that's a naked roof rack fit.
Instead they recommend the part # TH7502-TH7502 that will wrap around the raised rails. view full answer...
The High-Low adapter # RM-076 was not designed to be used for that purpose. The adapter has a tongue weight capacity of only 100 lbs, and is designed for towing a vehicle that is resting on the ground behind another vehicle.
The Curt Multi-Purpose Ball Mount, # D210 might possibly be an option. The ball mount would raise your bike rack by 4-3/4 inches. The unit is rated at 7500 lbs towing, 750 lbs tongue weight. The receiver portion has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs. view full answer...
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75089 for your 1995 Nissan Quest will have the receiver directly under the rear bumper once it is installed. To determine if ground clearance will be a problem you will need to consider the carrier you are using. If its platform is higher up that the receiver then ground clearance will probably not be an issue. But if the platform comes straight out from the receiver then it is likely there could be some scraping when going up inclines or into dips.

The particular Class III Draw-Tite hitch that you referenced, part # 75714, is not rated for use with a weight distribution system. This is noted in our product specs for this hitch.
Of the three Class III hitches offered for your 2014 Nissan Quest (please see the link provided for you) only one hitch, the Curt # C13078, is rated for use with weight distribution. Its tongue weight capacity becomes 500-lbs and its towing capacity becomes 5000-lbs with a system installed.

Unfortunately I can't find the bearing replacement information online, so to ensure you get the correct replacement you will need to pull one of the hubs. The hubs will have two bearings and on the face of each one there is a number. If you can get me the number on those bearings as well as the number on the grease seal on the backside of that hub, I can help you get the correct replacement.
If you cannot get the bearing numbers, then you can measure the spindle using a digital caliper... view full answer...

The Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier, item # TH911XT, is designed to work on the back of your 2009 Nissan Quest, and has a weight capacity of 105 lbs.
Most adult bikes weigh no more that 35 lbs each as long as they are not downhill bikes or beach cruisers, and most child bikes weigh around 20 pounds. This leaves 15 lbs left over with 2 adult bikes and 1 child bike.

The tongue weight (or hitch weight) is the maximum amount of weight that the frame of the vehicle can withstand without being damaged. You'll also always be limited to the lowest rated component in your towing setup, so even if your hitch says maximum 500-lbs tongue weight, but the vehicle is only rated for 350-lbs (which my research indicated), you will be limited to that 350-lbs. This means that any carrier and motorcycle must have a combined weight of less than 350-lbs.

Your 2009 Nissan Quest requires a powered converter to protect the vehicles sensitive circuitry form possible overload or shorts. There is a gray power connection in the rear of the vehicle near the taillight connections on the drivers side which will supply power to the trailer taillights. This power wire eliminates the amperage draw on the vehicles taillight system.
