If you'd be willing to remove the flush rails on the roof of your 2019 Ford EcoSport so that you could install a naked roof Yakima rack that fits your vehicle like the JetStream kit part # Y00425, # Y28TR, # Y06129, and # Y06169 you'd have a great way to install the Thule Hullavator part # TH898!
There isn't an aftermarket roof rack configuration out there though that will fit with the flush rails you have now. view full answer...
The Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG901 will fit your 2018 Ford EcoSport if you have a roof rack with crossbar spread within 24" - 28". It will work with all types of crossbar styles.
If you need a roof rack, we actually don't have any options available for your vehicle that will work with the required crossbar spread of the Malone Cargo12. For your 2019 Ford EcoSport with factory flush rails, we don't have a confirmed fit from any of our manufacturers as of 6/2020.

There are two trailer hitch options available for a 2018 Ford EcoSport, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12188 and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 36660 which both have a 1-1/4" receiver tube openings. Therefore, they do not offer a trailer hitch for a 2018 Ford EcoSport with 2" receiver tube opening. However, you can obtain a 2" receiver tube opening with an adapter like the Hitch Expander Adapter part # 80303 but keep in mind these reduce your tongue weight capacity... view full answer...
It looks like the hitches available for the Ford EcoSports are 1-1/4" class II hitches which limits you in options for heavy e-bikes. With this in mind and the need for a loading ramp I recommend the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack item # Y96FR.
The OnRamp has a 66 lbs per bike capacity which is our strongest option for class II hitches. This is a frame mounted bike rack that will fit a variety of styles of e-bikes and will completely avoid any fenders your e-bike may have.
It has an integrated... view full answer...
They do not make a class III trailer hitch receiver for your 2018 Ford EcoSport. Instead, you will need to choose from either the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 36660 or the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12188 which both have a class II rating with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. I prefer the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver as it is more cost effective and will not require the use of a support strap like part # 18050 for non-towing accessories.

Lowering the exhaust to install a hitch like the Draw Tite part # 36660 on a 2018 Ford EcoSport is not difficult at all. It's actually almost a standard step for hitch installs it's required so frequently. It's typically just a matter of needing a pry tool like # ALL648544 and some spray lube to get the hangers off. You just need to pry the rubber isolators off of the hangers and you're set. view full answer...

Based on my research the four rear sensors on your 2019 Ford EcoSport are located along the bumper beneath the hatch. With this in mind your best bet to try and avoid too much interference will be with a hanging-style rack that features a center vertical mast. The rack itself won't block the sensors at all, as they are spaced apart so that the center mast would extend upward between them. A platform-style rack on the other hand may block the sensors by itself.
The potential sensor interference... view full answer...
I attached a picture of the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634 you mentioned on a 2018 Ford EcoSport like you have. This is a really great trunk rack option we recommend highly. It has locks for the rack and bikes (most don't), is easy to install, and has a wide mounting pad on the lower arm to help spread the weight of the bikes and rack out.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike... view full answer...

If you do not already have one, it would be a good idea to get a 4-pole tester such as the Curt LED 4-Way Flat Connector (Vehicle End) Tester # I26. Using this tester, you can verify if the vehicle wiring is working properly.
If the 4-pole tester verifies that you are having issues at the vehicle end, not trailer end, then make sure all of the connections are good on the vehicle's trailer wiring kit using a circuit tester like the Circuit Tester Kit # PTW2993.
