While there are a couple option for a gooseneck hitch that can work for your 2022 Ram 5500 cab and chassis, the Curt gooseneck is a custom fit for the pick-ups, and there isn't a way it can be made to fit the cab and chassis.

The Super Titan hitch, # 38208, is designed for C channel style frames approximately 34 to 34-1/2 inches wide. This is measured from outside to outside of the frame rails. This is the common frame size for cab and chassis trucks so in that regard it would fit your 2016 Ram 5500.

I do find that the electric Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 to be the best route as once it is installed it is the easiest to use. It will not be as difficult to install since the main unit is mounted 5-10' behind the ball mount and you will be able to fish the wiring through the underbelly.
