Depends on the condition of the wood but the backing plate of the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor w Backing Plate # RR5K that you referenced is designed to distribute the weight so that it does not easily rip through the wood.
I attached a picture of what the backing plate looks like installed. If the floor is strong enough for the weight of your snowmobile it's going to be strong enough for the backing plate to be effective. view full answer...

The Superwinch LT2000 winch has a 50 foot long wire rope with a 5/32 inch diameter so for a replacement the best I can currently offer is the # FWC7500100 which is 7/32 and 50 foot and you'd be set. There's no way to convert the winch to a synthetic rope.
I attached a picture that covers how the replacement is done as well. view full answer...

The best way to extend the wiring would be to get 10 Gauge Blue Primary Wire, part # 10-1-1, to extend the wiring and then use a 12-10 Gauge Butt Connector, part # 05732-2, to connect the wires. And then finally wrap the connection with Electrical Tape.
That should give you the additional 12 inches you would need to connect your Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch, part # 1120210, to your 2005 Yamaha Wolverine 350 FX.
I attached installation instructions for the # 1120210 below. view full answer...

What it sounds like you are looking to do is generally called "flipping the axle" which is done with an over/under kit. There are two options available for you depending on your axle's diameter. For a round 2-3/8" axle you will need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 while for a round 3" axle you need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00. If you had tandem axles you would need one kit per axle.

Thank you for providing the picture. However you hit that wood it managed to shove the one side up so far it pushed the other side into that position which prevented your wheel from coming back down. I wouldn't say something was necessarily "wrong" other than the fact that the suspension was pushed in an abnormal way from the wood.
Go ahead and inspect the shackles, bolts, and equalizer to see if there are any stress marks or anything indicating damage. If there wasn't a lot of lateral... view full answer...
