  • What Kind Of Hose To Use With The Gravity Fill Connection On The A01-2004VP
  • For the gravity fill inlet on the # A01-2004VP you can use really any flexible 1-1/4" diameter (or smaller) hose. That is, as long as it is made of non-toxic plastic that is safe for drinking water. Unfortunately, we no longer carry any hoses with a 1-1/4" diameter. I was able to find a picture showing an example of a compatible 1-1/4" hose which I have included below. I imagine you could find something like this at a local hardware store or plumbing supply store.

  • Recommended Gen 3 Goosebox for a Lippert 1621 Pin Box
  • No, not at all! You will be all good with the extra capacity. You will also need the Reese Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # RP49151. These are not included with the goose box but are legally required.

  • Does the B&W Continuum Work w/ Trailers that Have 4 Inch Tall Frames?
  • Thanks for the pictures! No, I am sorry Richard you can not. The B&W Continuum item # BW78FR only works with frames that are 5" and 6" tall. Instead, I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37100ET. The Equal-i-zer item # EQ37100ET has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs so it would be perfect for your car trailer. This system has built in 4-point sway control that will keep your trailer in line with your truck when you make...

  • Security Locks For Dexter A-60 Brake Actuator Coupler # DX56FR
  • We do have locks that will work with your Dexter A-60 Brake Actuator # DX56FR. The Coupler Lock # e98888 will allow you to secure the trailer to your vehicle when towing. This lock pin replaces the included push pin which comes with the actuator. For storage you will want to use the Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # FA86-0015-316. This can be used with the coupler lock above as well. I have linked videos for each of these locks near the bottom of the page which shows them being...

  • Weight Distribution System Recommendation For A 2022 Ember Overland Travel Trailer
  • Hey Jeff, cool trailer. It sounds like you are already on the right track here, because the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17501 is definitely a good option for your Ember 240TKR travel trailer. This system is intended for trailers with a tongue weight between 1,000 lbs and 1,500 lbs. Generally, the tongue weight of a travel trailer will be 10%-15% of the total weight. it sounds like your trailer is going to be a bit heavier on the tongue, so I am thinking you may be closer...

  • Recommended Bike Rack For Two Lectric XP 3.0 E-Bikes On A Flat Towed Vehicle
  • Based on the specs of the Lectric XP 3.0 and the fact that you'll be installing this on flat towed vehicle I have to recommend the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y36FR. It has a 66lb per bike capacity to accommodate your 57lb bikes (never haul the bikes with the batteries installed, they should always be stored inside of the vehicle). The trays accommodate up to 3.25" wide tires so they'll work with your 3" wide tires. The padded clamps can easily adjust around to grip the...

  • What Needs To Be Welded Underneath The Frame For The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension TSR7000T05
  • The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # TSR7000T05 will require a 2" x 4 "hollow steel crossmember with 3/16 wall thickness to be welded between the left and right hangers. You will also need to weld the axle seats to the axle. I have included the diagram below for your reference. With a 6" c-channel and 3" crossmembers on top, frame clearance should not be an issue.

  • Options For Connecting Safety Cables When Using The Dexter DX29FR Actuator
  • Well Brent that is certainly a valid concern, because the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator # DX29FR does not have any kind of built in safety cable connections. In fact very few of the surge brake actuators that we carry will have cable connections. In most cases the safety cable connection will be part of the trailer tongue itself and not part of the brake actuator (example pictured below). As far as getting you a cable connection point, it could be as simple as putting a hole a bit...

  • Recommended Gen-Y Gooseneck Pin Box
  • Hey Danny I would be happy to help you! Unless your 2015 Sandstorm 5th wheel trailer has a Lippert Rhino Pin Box which says Rhino Box on the side I am going to need to see the sticker on your pin box. It'll have some of the following or all; a serial number, RPO number, LCI number and some other information on capacity. If you could email me this directly I would be happy to find the right Gen-Y Gooseneck Pin Box for you. Now, if you have a Rhino Box you'll need the Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel...

  • Wiring Trailer Brakes On a 5TH Wheel Trailer
  • For the wires coming from the brakes they do not matter as they connect to the magnets in the drum brakes which are not polarity specific. So one wire from each brake will connect to the frame/ground wire as a ground and the 2nd wire will connect to the positive wires coming from the 7-way. The brown wires running through the axle are simply put there by the axle manufacturer so you do not have to run wiring down both sides of the frame. As for the 2 white wires on your 5th wheel you...

  • Availability of 14,000 lbs GTW, 1,400 lbs TW Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch With 2-1/2" Shank
  • Although we do not have one that comes with it under a single product number like the # EQ64FR, it is simple enough to put it together. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution # EQ37141ET does not include a shank so you can add whichever one you need. We have the following available for a 2-1/2" receiver: -Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 7" Rise, 3" Drop # EQ90-02-4700 -Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 10" Rise/6" Drop # EQ90-02-4900 -Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution...

  • Do The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Kits Offer a Factor of Safety?

  • Can the Buyer's Products Class 4 Service Body Hitch Be Bolted On or Welded?
  • Both! I checked with Buyer's Products and their Class 4 Service Body Long Hitch item # 3371801055 can either be welded on or bolted on with the included hardware. This is a universal hitch so you'll need to drill into your trucks frame if you go the bolt on route.

  • What Pin On My 7-Way Should Be Hot All The Time?
  • Hello Otto. The 12v pin on your 7-way should be hot all the time, assuming it is wired directly to the vehicles battery. This would generally be the 1 o'clock pin. I have included the wiring diagram for a 7-way below for your reference. I am not quite sure what you mean by "tm pin" though so if you can provide more information, I am happy to provide you with a more detailed answer.

  • Tire Change Jack For An 11,000 lb Toy Hauler
  • There are a couple options that may interest you. One very popular option is the Blaylock EZ Jack # EZ-JACK. This is a wedge-style jack. Basically what you would do for a triple axle trailer is turn the curve up, opposite the wheel, and then drive the trailer up on to the jack which will allow you to change a tire. The main things I like about this option is that it is compact and lightweight, it also does not require any "elbow grease" like a manual crank jack. It also can be used as a...
