After doing a bit of research on the internet, I was able to find that the Fram filter, PH3950, will work on the 20 x 1.5 mm threaded adapter included with the thermostatic adapter, part # D25732. This filter has a 2.80 inch outside diameter gasket that will work with the thermostatic adapters.

I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2018 Toyota Corolla and it simply states that Toyota "does not recommend" towing a trailer so they do not give any type of towing capacity.
