You'd want to have the C-channel of your frame boxed where you attach the Curt hitch part # 13703. This will be the only way the hitch will fit the frame and attach securely. Based on the pictures you provided the 3-prong connector is most likely your power, ground, and neutral and the communication wires between the rooftop unit and controller must be separately hardwired. To replace your unit you would need to cut the connector off and hardwire each connection.
