- I spoke with Lippert about the Kwikee 26 Series Steps and they informed me that your best option is the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee 26 Series Electric RV Steps part # LC379801 which replaces the motor, linkage, and control module.
If the steps are original to the coach then the linkage kit is obsolete unfortunately which is why you need the update kit.

- There are nine different Spartan chassis types in the 2001 model year (!) and based on what I found researching these vehicles there is no quick-connect port for a brake controller. This just means you will have to hardwire the controller.
Since the RV already has a wired 7-way, you will need just the controller itself, and I suggest the Prodigy P2 # 90885, along with installation kit # 5506.

The only difference is that some 2019 and newer Spartan chassis came with a larger fitting installed at the factory, so they made a hose # SM6296 to fit the larger inlet. With your Tiffin being a 2008 (2007 chassis) you wouldn't have the larger fitting so you'll be good to go when installing your Air Force One # SM99243.
