The best bike rack for spoilers is the Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top. Both the 3 Bike Rack for Vehicles w/ Spoilers - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # HRF2-3 and the 2 Bike # HRF2 are a confirmed fit with your 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo with spoiler.
To secure the rack to your trunk, I recommend the Thule Passive Security Strap for Trunk Mounted Bike Carriers # TH533. Then to secure your bikes to the rack, the Deadbolt 10' Long Cable Lock # e98891.
With any hanging style rack, I recommend... view full answer...
The trailer hitches we offer for your Sentra are Class l hitches like part # 24907, which fits all Sentras except SR models and have a limited weight capacity. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 receiver opening.
One carrier we offer is the Reese Cargo Carrier, part # 63155. This carrier is a 20 x 47 steel carrier and weighs 44 lbs. This carrier would be able to handle a collapsible wheelchair. view full answer...
I usually don't recommend opening a rear hatch with a trunk mount bike rack attached. The rack adds additional weight to the hatch lid that it's opening/lifting mechanism might not be rated for. This could cause the hatch lid to close unexpectedly, causing injury.
The trunk lid on your Sentra isn't very heavy, nor is the rack. If you're careful about keeping an eye on the lid while you're accessing the trunk, you should be just fine.
I'm not entirely sure which lock you're speaking of.... view full answer...
Although the Curt Hitch # C11349 that you mentioned is a good option, I recommend installing the Draw-Tite Hitch # 24907. The Curt hitch requires you to use a support or stabilizing strap, like part # 18050, with all non-trailer loads, like bike racks and cargo carriers. Not using the strap will void your warranty.
Draw-Tite does not have that requirement for their hitches which is why I default to that hitch instead of the Curt. The Draw-Tite hitch has a Max Gross Trailer Weight of 2,000... view full answer...
Hi, For your 2013 Nissan Sentra SV I would use the Curt trailer hitch receiver custom fit # C11349 it does not require any drilling holes in the frame of your car. Just needs one hole made wider. You will also need a ball mount like the Curt Class II drawbar # C45521 and ball like the Curt 2" Hitch Ball # 40038 and a wire harness like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector # C56205.
The two hitches we do carry offer the same towing capability, you... view full answer...
I pulled up the owners manual of your 2015 Nissan Sentra and only the manual transmission models can be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. The automatic transmission vehicles need to be towed on a dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 that you referenced. view full answer...
We have two Class I Trailer hitch recievers to fit your 2008 Nissan Sentra. The Draw-Tite # 24794 fits the standard and SE-R models while the Curt # C11370 is only confirmed to fit the standard Sentra.
I recommend the Draw-Tite, as Curt makes you use a support strap, # 18050 with their hitch. However, the Draw-Tite does require drilling to install.
In general, swing-away racks are designed for larger 2" hitches and aren't compatible with Class I hitch receivers because they will take... view full answer...
The Rola LED Light Kit for Cargo Carriers 59516 that you referenced requires a standard 4-way trailer wiring connector to function properly. Hopkins does offer a kit that fits your 2016 Nissan Sentra with the part # HM11143685 that is custom fit and would work really well. view full answer...
There are no trailer hitch fits for your 2023 Nissan Sentra sedan so the only way you can carry a bike is with a trunk-mounted bike rack. For that, the best option that will fit is from Yakima:
- Yakima FullBack 2-Bike Rack # Y02634
There are a number of reasons the FullBack # Y02634 is the best, starting with its strong anti-sway cradles and ratcheting straps which secure your bikes at three different points. This is important because it ensures your bikes don't make any contact with... view full answer...
I reached out to my tech contact at Yakima to see if your 2007 Nissan Sentra has the Q-clips you were seeking. Unfortunately, he said they don't have a Q-clip fit and the baseline towers are your only option for a Yakima roof rack.
For that system you will need:
Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 50" Long # Y00425
BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR
BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06142
Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 (optional) view full answer...
You can certainly install a trailer hitch on your 2011 Nissan Sentra for use with a hitch-mounted bike rack.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24794. This Class I trailer hitch is custom designed and confirmed to fit your Sentra. I have even included an installation video on this very vehicle that you can watch for reference. This hitch will provide a 1-1/4 inch receiver that will accept compatible hitch-mounted bike racks and other accessories like cargo carriers.... view full answer...
I recommend any of the Rightline Gear rooftop bags for your 2002 Nissan Sentra. Their waterproof, including at the zipper, and very durable. Just choose whichever size you need:
15 cubic feet, # RL100S20
18 cubic feet, # RL100S30 view full answer...
The Thule OutWay # TH65JV is an excellent choice. It is by far the easiest to mount trunk mount bike rack I have used. They are the easiest and quickest installation of any trunk mount bike rack I have seen because they use retractable cables instead of straps. The mounting cables are lockable, and the rack includes an integrated cable lock to deter theft.
To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is... view full answer...
First lets start with a roof rack. For that I would recommend the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack since this the most aerodynamic rack on the market that will provide you with a quiet ride that will give you the best possible fuel mileage. You will need the following components.
Thule AeroBlade Load Bars # TH711420
Thule Rapid Traverse Roof-Rack Foot Pack # TH480R
Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit part # THKIT1538
Once installed you would be ready to install the Thule Surf Carrier # TH845000 to carry... view full answer...
For the most user-friendly and high-quality trunk mount bike rack that will also fit the 2005 Nissan Sentra, I recommend the Thule Raceway, # TH45JV. I actually own the 3 bike version of this rack and it is the easiest and quickest to install trunk mount rack I have used.
This rack is the easiest to install. The OutWay uses only 2 rubber straps instead of 6 straps like other racks. It also
includes locks for both the rack and the bikes to deter theft.
If you will be carrying women's,... view full answer...
I do have a way for you to carry bikes on 2019 Nissan Sentra Nismo but there are no trailer hitches available. The easiest option would be to use a trunk mount bike rack, the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack part # Y02634 is what I recommend because it's lightweight, has a sleek black finish, and comes with locks for security. view full answer...
There are two ways to tow the 2010 Nissan Sentra which will vary depending on which transmission you have. If you have a manual transmission then yes, the vehicle can be flat-towed with all four wheels down. However, if you have an automatic transmission which is what most of these vehicles came with then the vehicle must be placed on a tow dolly with the front two wheels off the ground.
I suspect you have the automatic transmission but if not just let me know. I recommend using the Roadmaster... view full answer...
To carry a kayak on the roof of your 2009 Nissan Sentra you would start with a roof rack like # SR1002. Then you would add a kayak carrier like # TH881. The saddles will protect the kayak from damage from the roof rack.
The less expensive option is to use a foam block set up like # RL100K10. You place the foam blocks on your bare roof then grab a buddy to set the kayak on them. Next use the include blue straps to go over the kayak, Open the doors on the vehicle and run the straps through... view full answer...
You can flat tow a 2014 Nissan Sentra with all wheels on the ground as long as it has a manual transmission. If yours has an automatic transmission then the vehicle must be placed on a tow dolly such as # RM-2050-1.
If you have the manual transmission then you will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.
For base plates you can use # BX1849. This set fits S, SV, SR, and SL models but does not fit the FE+ models. For a compatible tow bar I recommend... view full answer...
We do have the support strap you need for a cargo carrier, and it definitely isn't 20 feet long.
I recommend the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050.
This strap is 61" long in total; I have added a link to a video review as well, and if you go to about the 2:00 mark you can see the strap being used on a cargo carrier. view full answer...
